Angel in the garden

This past weekend we used our garden to raise money for Columbia Cares.  It's an orginization that raises money to improve the lives of people with aides or anyone needing assistance.  I had painted another angel for this spot but decided it needed to be lime instead of my usual purple.  Only a crazy person would be out at 6am trying to beat the rain and the heat 2 days before the tour....but here are the results.  She was a hit of the tour~!  Once Shelton was out helping me (giving advice which he's sooooo good at) and we heard rain falling right behind our home.  We grabbed my supplies and literally ran for the basement.  IT DIDN'T RAIN~!  not even a drop.  It stopped at the street behind us~!  It was a bit comical after it was over.  Ah....the things we do.  Thanks to my friend and neighbor Susan Jones for the great photo.
