Shelton had been to a monastery in Kentucky for the weekend. He first chose the more narrow path and found it full of statuary. He was surprised to find the most used trail to be void of man made enhancement. Much like life..."the path least followed" is often the rewarding.

He's gone a couple of times for a retreat. He chooses to be in silence while there. It's a powerful spiritual experience for him. I've visited it once and agree that it would be awesome. I just don't think I could be quiet for that long. ha ... Sue Monk Kidd (wrote the Secret Life of Bees) goes there and loves it.
