Victoria

Love my grand daughter Victoria's long curly hair. 16" x 20" canvas

Mixie

My grand daughter Victoria called and asked why I didn't post one of her "favorite" paintings of a rooster that I painted with her pet in mind. Here you go darlin'.    8" x 10" canvas.  This little rooster went to a brand new home on a farm with lots of chicks.  He should be very happy there with my little grand daughters to look after him.

Hidden Garden

This is from a spot in my garden that is barely visible until you get right on it.  18" x 24" canvas

Snow Guardian

This afternoon a friend called on her way to visit her grand children.  She said she'd be on the road until midnight and it was snowing hard.  As I picked up my paint brushes I kept thinking of her and asking God to keep her safe.  11" x 14" canvas

Angels 5

These are all painted on canvas.  The green background is 16" x 20".  It's $125.   The other two are 11" x 14". and are $75. each.

Grandma

I painted this from a photo that was taken when my Grandma was near sixty.  I loved going to see her in this little farm house my Gran-dad built for them to live in.  I didn't realize how sad it looked ....  to me it was an awesome home because my Grandma was there.  I remember she used "plastic" curtains in the summer.  They were very thin and covered with little flowers.  I've yet to talk to anyone who remembers plastic curtains.  She was right about her biscuits never tasting as good after her kids replaced her wood burning kitchen stove with a more safe electric oven. This is on an 11' x 14" canvas.

Four Seasons Angels

This is the first in a series of four that I am painting.  They are all 3' x 5'.  I plan to use them on the back fence in my garden.

Which path?

Shelton had been to a monastery in Kentucky for the weekend.  He first chose the more narrow path and found it full of statuary. He was surprised to find the most used trail to be void of man made enhancement.  Much like life..."the path least followed" is often the rewarding.

First Angel

This was my very first painted angel.  It's on an 8 x 10" canvas.

Art Studio

We recently carved out a place for me to relax and paint up in the attic.  LOVE IT~!

A trip to the beach

Shelton and I spent a few days in Destin last week. It's the time to go if you don't mind having the beach all to yourself. Saturday morning just before returning home to the snow, I walked for about 1&1/2 hours at the waters edge and hardly saw anyone. When I got home I was surprised to see the bright colors I had painted with while looking over the balcony from our room.

Spring Sofa

This was so much fun~! I love the spring colors. I had been to my favorite shop Loblolly's in Columbia, TN and couldn't wait to get home and attempt a style I had seen of Ellen's. It's 11"x14".  Price:  $50. unframed.

Linen Cabinet

This is one of my treasured pieces because it belonged to my "Grandma". When she passed away it was full of unused linens that she was "saving". It's been a good lesson to me that we need to use our nice things and enjoy them as the gift they were intended to be. This was painted white with glass doors at the top. When my boys were little we did a punched tin insert which is now on the reverse side of the rabbit paintings.

Purple Chair

Angels in the garden

The first and last angel have been adopted.  The first by my precious little friend Niki and the last by my sassy sister friend Amy.

Mountain Stream

Shelton barely got this one framed when I realized it wasn't complete. I think that this shows that more is definitely better. The canvas is 16"x 20". Don't you just love the huge frame~?

Interior living rooms

I love interior design so decided to paint a couple of scenes.

Angels on tile -2. Sold

Angel in Blue is $30.00.  It's on tile.

Most of these angels are aprox. 6" sq.

This little angel was adopted by the sweetest young girl a couple of weeks ago.

Angels on Tiles

These have all been adopted.  I paint these often for only $30.00 each.  If you'd like one, please inquire and I'll send you photos of what I have available.  They are usually painted on a 6" Italian or Brazilian tile.

Most of these angels are painted on Brazilian and Italian tiles have already found a good home. The tiles are aprox. 6" sq. I'll be painting more.

Protected by an angel

I painted this from a spot in our back yard. Shelton and I love gardening under the watch of this handsome male angel.

Mist in the woods

I love walking in the woods. These are places in my mind that would be wonderful to lay a blanket and open a picnic basket. They were fun to paint.

Angel in white dress 24" x 48"

I first painted this in shades of blue and later decided I needed one in white. The brown and white tones work better in my new studio. Which do you like better?
